I had a similar problem with my Kenmore Ice maker.
My problem turned out to be that someone left the door open just long enough for the ice, in the ice making tray to start melting a little. The door was closed...the melted ice froze solid, locking the arm that spins to eject the ice into the bin.
I removed the ice maker from the freezer, thawed out the block of ice, installed the ice maker, and it started working again.
