Timer advancing??

** Kenmore washing machine model 110.92588210. Put load in overnight, woke up this morning, water was still in machine. **

Had the timer advanced to the end of the cycle or just stopped at some point in the middle??

** Tried to run machine, it made some abnormal noise and would not spin or drain. **

Will it still agitate?

** Not at all good at repairs, willing to try. **

Most service on your machine will require removing the whole cabinet. If you're not going to be comfortable doing that, you might want to consider calling in a professional to look into it for you?
