I had a similar situation. The Dining Room table I ordered was Marble & I didn't realize you needed 5 guys to pick it up! The house wasn't built to todays codes so i was worried about the weight.

What I did was added a header in the basement perpindicular to the floor joists then to top it off I added a 4x4 in 3 spots.

That floor isn't going anywhere!
