electric furnace replacement, dual source heat pumps

I am in the processing of deciding to replace my 30-year old forced air electric furnace in my three story townhouse. With electric rates skyrocketing, I want something that wil work very well, that will last ( and be good for the environment). I am looking at geothermal systems...and have heard about dual source heat pumps, but am having a hard time finding contractors who know about them
Any avice would be welcome.
