Trex Railings

We're installing a front porch and rear deck in Trex and want a white NO-MAINTENANCE railing. Don't like the look of vinyl and are considering the Trex railing. Have any of you had experience with it? If so, is it worth the higher price? Is there a less expensive alternative out there?
