1. shut off the heater.
2. drain the system down below the baseboard to be removed.
3. Remove the baseboard with a tube cutter.
4. Remove the elbow from the section of tube below the floor where the baseboard risers go up to where the baseboard was.
5. join a tube to the pipes where the riser elbows were so the water can continue past where the baseboard connections were.
6. leak test to make sure no leaks.
7. follow the air purge procedure here:

Yes, you really have to find out the MAKE and MODEL to get good answers. There IS more than one machine made.
