unlocking the Lux 1500

This is awesome! I've been trying to figure out for the past month how to make my previously fully-functioning thermostat respond manually and was about to give up and buy a new one. I didn't really want to spend the money so I decided to google Lux 1500 and this solution popped up. And it worked! Thank you. I've signed up to the site and will head here first with other household dilemmas. Thank you.
