replacement windows

A few years ago I had 2 of my replacement windows switched. I had the office lower window moved to the bedroom and the bedroom lower window moved to the office (long story why). I would like to switch them back but am unsure how to remove the window. I seem to remember the guy who did it twisting the window frame and it came out. Any suggestions? I want to switch them back for the fit.
