The bathtub drain, when I lift up on the knob the water stops draining, but when I push it down it drains slowly. I have put draino and it is not cloged from hair. I pulled the drain out and there is a long adjustable rod attached to a metal round cylinder shaped metal piece. To let more water flow through do I want the cylinder piece to go higher or lower? Thanks for the help.
