candle wax

Hi Kathy,
For some reason, this happens in our household a lot. I iron the wax out of the rug first using paper towels against the rug and a thin cotton towel between the iron and the paper towels (so that the wax doesn't get onto the iron). Make sure to move paper towes around so that the wax can continue to be absorbed by dry parts of towel.
After most of the wax has been absorbed into the paper towel, I use a product called QUICK N BRITE. I scoop some of that up onto a dry cotton rag then rub in different directions until it is gone! This stuff has even taken out dark colors from our light cream colored carpeting! Just keep rubbing until the carpet is mostly dry once all of the candle color is gone.
