Cut / Remove Ceramic Tile For Dishwasher

Our new dishwasher (wheels removed) is about 1/4" too high to fit in the existing opening.

Cutting up into the tiled counter top would look makeshift.

Our existing tile floor extends all the way through the dishwasher enclosure. I need to remove tiles and parts of tiles behind the dishwasher kick plate line.

Complication: the tiles are laid on the diagonal, so I will need to cut neatly across each tile at the front.

Can you suggest how to cut / remove just the tile sections behind the dishwasher kick plate?
