finishing linen closet/hiding hot water tank

We've built a closet deep enough for a hot water tank to supply our master bath and still have space for linen shelving in front of the tank. We'd like any ideas about how to finish this with a "fake" wall on the back (with ability to access the hot water tank behind it) and what kind of shelving for the linens? Also, any other ideas on how to use this space for linens/bath supplies? Thanks!
