I have a 40 year old house with wood framed exterior walls covered in plaster, which are bolted to the concrete foundation. An 6' long section of the wall is bowing outwards about 2" where it meets the foundation, of course causing vertical and horizontal cracks. I don't know if the wall frame to foundation may not have been bolted in that area. What would be the proper fix for this.
It almost seems like the base could be gently pushed inwards 2" (with a heavy board and a truck bumper) then bolted from under the house)
