You might try West epoxy......they have a "repair the fiberglass tub/shower" article

Under Projects>Non marine>tub and shower repair

The article also explains how the original Gel-coat is first spray applied to the mold.....then the fiberglass backing.....all inside out.......

Any "surface repair" needs a cosmetic paint coat......
