solution,,, if you use a heavier truck, might you need less force ? ? ?
no idea of the applicable code 'back then' but you certainly need to open the wall down to & incl the sill plate,,, working blind's never a good option.
find a carpenter who's got a good head on his shoulders,,, this is clearly beyond your ability to even understand the problem let alone conjure up such a dangerous plan.
