made a mistake painting over wallpaper, help!

Hello everyone,
I recently painted over wallpaper in my front hallway. I used spackling on all of the seams, I then sanded it down. I applied 2 coats of primer and 1 coat of paint. 90% of the wall looks great. However in one area I applied the spackling too thick and did not sand it down enough. I can see the outline of the spackling halfway down the wall. Should I get my electric sander and sand that area and re-prime and paint? How can I get rid of the spackling lines in a small area? Any help would be appreciated.
