I like pergo so you aren't going against my flow. I just remind everyone that it is a floor "covering" and not a standalone floor. I wouldn't be afraid to put it in kitchens and bathrooms and basements with the understanding that it may need replacing when damaged just like any other floor "covering" like vinyl, carpet, tile, etc. As posted below, I prefer carpet under my tender feet.
