oy, you bett'r get a structural engineer's reading of his calc tables,,, microlams're great but i wouldn't place 1 30' clear in my house,,, just off the top of my head from using 'em, they'd have to be 24" tall & 16" wide.
physically placing said beam's another issue but, i suppose, you could cut openings in a sidewall for ease of entry,,, the crane to lift it's another issue or the floor strength to move it on dollies/jacks.
possible to reconsider the design ?
