but why,,, won't elec cost you more to heat the same amt of water ?,,, + recovery time's much faster w/gas.
would like to replace my gas water heater with an electric. Is this easy to do? Already have a 220 outlet in the area boiler is in now.
far's the friend's htr, you can't til its hook'd up,,, you could run a continuity test across the leads.
btw, make sure you cap the existing gas line well.
