how to repair basement seepage in 1940's home Posted by jshag on January 15th, 2008 07:09 PM
My grandmother's basement walls have start to bubble and peel off in large, thin hunks. I don't know what the material is but it looks something like plaster made with sawdust. The foundation under it looks like concrete heavy with corse sand. The house was built in the early 1940's. Is there a way to repaire the damage? we are looking at improving drainage on the outside, but don't know how to fix the inside. Thanks for the help Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
