To properly insulate close areas
where the rafter facing is being
used for the nailers for drywall,
the usage of a baffle is recommended.
They are made of either cardboard or
polystyrene foam shaped like this
--___/___/-- they fit between
the rafter spaces and are stapled in
place or taped with duct tape. Insulate
the area according to rafter depth
preferably R-19 or better. Vapor shield
with plastic and install drywall. Leave
areas past knee walls open to soffit and
insulate kneewalls properly. Docanaheim
