I have a problem I need some help with please. I have added a sunroom to the back of my home and not sure what to do or use for the flooring. The room is 16’ X 12’ and has 8 windows and a 6’ sliding glass door. The room was a deck and I converted it in to a sunroom. The problem is that the room is 8’ above ground so I put 3/8 plywood on the under side of the 2” X 8”, and 3/4 plywood on top with 8” of insulation. The room has no heat or air unless the door from the house is open. This not a problem most of the time but when it gets below 30 deg we close the door. I am not sure what type of flooring to use. I don’t think I want to use carpet due to the fact I am sure that a window will get left open sometime and then it will rain in. I don’t think I want ceramic tile due to how cold it gets. I had some tell me to look at Dura Ceramic tile so I did. I liked it but the salesman told me that it will not work due to the glue will not work under extreme temperature changes. So meanwhile my floor is still just a plywood floor and my wife would like me to finish it.
I have added two pictures; one of the inside and one of the outside. I live about 120 miles north of St Louis Mo.
