I purchased a house where a previous owner installed a corner jacuzzi tub in the basement bathroom. The person I purchased the home from, installed a hideous looking shower holder made out of plastic pipe and hooks screwed into the ceiling. The walls are not tiled, they are normal drywall. I had a plumber out to see what could be done. He said that he couldn't tell if he could simply tile the walls because he could not tell if the tub had some sort of containment lip on it to keep the water from running behind it into the wall itself. Also, the placement of the fixtures would allow water to get into them. He said that I would probably always have to have a circular curtain. My problem is that the tub is quite large. It is a triangle and from the back corner to the side is 45" and from the two side corners is 60". I would like to find a decent looking circular shower curtain rod that provided me with coverage for the entire tub.
