No longer do they even try to repair ratchets - they force you to take a "new" one. The new ones aren't the same quality as the old ones. Plus, when I bought my torque wrench years ago, it was with a lifetime guarantee. I have had the ratchet innards replaced several times, and now they don't have the repair parts, and they now have a one-year guarantee! So I'm out of luck, with my torque wrench that is still perfect, except it slips in forward. And I have to buy a new one, when a $5.00 repair part would fix it? The same thing happened with my top-of-the-line 1/2" ratchet - no more repair, and the new ratchet they gave me is 1/2 the quality of the one I had faithful service from for 30 years!

I don't think I'll be buying Craftsman from now on.
