AAV Plumbing Options

We are building a new home with a rather intimidating roof, so we're trying to seek out venting options for our plumbing. My father plumbed my parent's home when they built it and my aunt's as well, so we're seeking his assistance in rough plumbing since they haven't had any problems over the last 25 years with his plumbing work, but we would rather avoid going onto our roof to vent! The roof is complete, but it is rather high and poses mulitple opportunities for accidents. What are some opinions on this Air Admittance Valve alternative? My husband's aunt & uncle used a similar approved system opposed to roof vents in their newer log home and have been pleased, but I would like advice since it is a new construction.
