insulation

Thank you for your reply, I realize it needs to be on the floor of the attic. Problem is access to the area I have realy no attic the only access point is a small 2'x3' area to get to any other area of the rest of the area under the roof if have about a 6 to 9 inch space in which to get through. So basically I cann't get to the whole area. that is the problem, how do I get the insulation to the rest of the are with out being able to get to it?
