In October we had a new furnace installed. The filter was not installed at the time and we asked to have it put on. It took about a month for our heater guy to come back to install it. Just yesterday our heater stopped. When our heater guy finally came, he said it was because the nozzle was clogged. He replaced the nozzle and we now have heat. He also told us that the problem was from the slug in our oil tank. He said we probably need a new oil tank. He's coming on Wednesday to check our tank and tell us what the condition of it is. This is the same person who did not install a filter with our furnace because he said we didn't need it. Do you think the nozzle had gotten clogged because it was without a filter for about a month or could it be our oil tank that needs to be replaced?
