hardwood flooring

Posted by danhicks15 on January 29th, 2008 12:42 PM

I have a room in my house that used to be a carport, now turned into a living space. The existing space is covered with carpet and we want to add hardwood flooring. The problem that we have is the existing slab under the carpet has a crown in the middle of the floor. Meaning that each side is at a lower level than that of the middle sections. What can we do to level out so that we can apply hardwood?
