I am installing a new furnace in my home, the question I have is my old furnace dosn't have a place for the filter where the fresh air return comes in, all I have is a fresh air return in the hall way with a filter in it. This is the only fresh air return in the house. Could I continue to use this air return in the hall with a filter in it or should I install a place for the filter on the new furnace? thanks
