The room does have a step down into it but the existing doors to the back patio will only allow for two inches to the top of the threshold and the sides (meaning the low spots more than the crown) are over 4-6 inches below the threshold of the doors. Perhaps my best option will be the leveling compound. the room is 12X20 so it is long and narrow. If I were to use a leveling compound I assume that I would need to pull up all baseboards, etc. and pour the leveling compound against the existing wall (drywall), correct?
