ourside drywall,

In remodling our kitchen, I removed paneling 7x3, under a window only to find evidence that termits had once been there,(1x2ft space), I then took the drywall out and found that the drywall ,that the outside bricks are on, is moldy. do I need to have the bricks removed and new drywall put in or is there another way. Our house is 30 years old.
