Becky..if your walls are textured with like a cement plaster.that is archived with 3 parts silica sand 2 parts cement 1 part lime. make sure you determine the correct grit of silica sand. remember the higher the grit number the finer the sand.only add enough water to make it the consistence of cookie dough moisten the area them apply the mixture with a trail pressing firmly you will need to apply beyond the repair and feather it out.let it dry slightly with a wet sponge (not dripping wet)lightly rub it in a swirly moisten and rub it out past were it was trialed on to blend it in with the existing texture.if your mixture is to wet it will wipe off if its to dry it wont texture properly.but no worries until it drys completely it will scrap rite off and you can try again
