I live near an airport and hear planes taking off as early as 530am. I think the problem is one wall facing the direction of the planes. This wall has 2 windows. It is a long room and I'm thinking about splitting the room in half (the bed on the 1/2 without the windowed wall) with a insulated wall with a steel replacment door. My other idea is to build a wall 1/2 in away from the windowed wall and lose the windows forever.
