tear in fiberglass shower enclosure

I have an inch slit on the outside bottom of shower enclosure. How do I fix? the shower enclosure is almond I am assuming the enclosure is fiberglass. currently it looks like a dirt mark. do I need to fill the slit and with what and then paint(with what)
