I just purchased a "fixer upper" and have one big problem which I need advice on. The previous owners were very dirty people and allowed there pet's to urinate in the home on a daily basis. The carpet and padding has already been ripped up, now just leaving the floor boards. When you walk in you strongly smell a horrible "dog odor". Since the urine most likely absorbed into the floor boards will I need to replace them?(I really don't want to as I know it will cost a fortuane) Or is there anything I can do to totally get rid of the odor and prevent it from ever coming back? Any adice will be appreciated. Thanks
