If your house is "natural" (not 'synthetic') stucco...then hairline cracking is normal. In fact, it is likley that the hairline cracks were there before you bought the house and the paint job was intended to 'hide' them. One simple method to repair these cracks is to seal them with a paintable siliconized latex or rubber caulk, then repaint with paint made for siding. Such caulks and paint will 'stretch' when the base material expands or contracts with heat and cold.
