When our shower floor tile was put in, our carpenter son-in-law didn't "protect" the weep holes around the drain and the mortar mix for the pan clogged the holes. In addition, the thin set under the tiles is at least 1/2" thick. My husband has fixed the weep hole problem, but now we want to know if there will be any problem with the excess thin set? Do we have to redo the entire shower floor?
