Hardiboard??

At the Hardie installation instructions site, I see HardiePlank, HardieShingle, HardiePanel, HardieTrim, HardieSoffit and HardieBacker listed, however I do not see any reference to “Hardiboard”. Check and repost with the correct name of the product which is being installed. You state that this is being installed in your condo. With the exception of HardieBacker, all of the above products are generally installed on the exterior of a building. HardieBacker goes underneath tile and is not primed. Any exterior material should receive a finish coat of paint, as primer is not designed to withstand the rigors of exposure to the elements. Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
