Garage Door Opener Repair

I have a Sears garage door opener. I had to order a new trolley. I need advise on the best way to install this new trolley.
I have detached the rail from the back, near the motor. Now I need to take apart the rail so that I can slide the new trolley on. I can not get the rail to come undone, where I originally put it together. Any ideas on a better way?
