You still have not come back with an answer to the smoke test that makes sense.

However i am not out of ideas.

Do you have a sump pump? It may be giving off a smell similar to sewer gas.

Do you have a defective "Air admittance valve"?

If one is letting the gas flow out that could cause the problem. Or if it has no flow at all.


Some other ideas:

When your washing machine drains do you see or hear any "burps" from the toilets or sinks?
