My back yard slopes away from the house, toward the back the fence. At the bottom of the yard, near the fence, I want to lay flagstone in the grass to cover about 50 sqf. The slope is about 4-6 inches. What do I need to do to level that? Can I just use sod where needed..lay the flagstone on it & move on?
