I'm doing a large Paver job and was planning on using recycled concrete for the base rock. I spoke to someone trying to sell me virgin baserock which is much more expensive and they insisted the recycled concrete would be a poor quality job and the pavers would move more.
My plan for the driveway was to put down 4 layers of 2" compacted fill then 1" layer of sand.
What is the best material for baserock w/out breaking the bank?
