I know this response is 4 years later, but I have to share with you that it is not just Andersen giving poor service after the fact. I think it is simply a window industry standard. I received horrible service from Pella when I needed a sash replaced. This wasn't even a warranty issue. I thought these people were not only incompetant, but seemed to be from another planet. After my unhappy experience dealing with them, Pella followed up with a phone call a couple weeks after I was finished to ask how was my Pella experience. It's the home improvement culture. Make your money and don't look back. Be nice to the complaining customer until they go away.
