I have drilled two holes in bathroom wall tile to mount a new shower curtain rod. The problem is that the holes I drilled (3/16")are a bit too small for the drywall anchors that came with the rod assembly. (The instructions didn't indicate what size to use.)

The questions:
Should I make the holes bigger or use smaller anchors that will still hold the mounting screws that came with the rod.

If I make the holes bigger, is there danger in cracking the tile (using a carbide bit)by drilling over the existing holes?

What's the best way to do this?
