HIGHER, almost without exception, than similar nearby comps. why, because architectural review is like insurance on your investment, insurance that the guy across the street won't plop a ridiculous disneyesque macrocastle in your quaint neighborhood and make your house unsellable.

it's unlikely that your neighborhood would be the first one ever where values went down.

and to reiterate... there are no regulations associated with national register designation! anyone who thinks that there are has confused the national register with something else.
