wouldn't the mold just begin to grow under the poly? I have block windows in the basement with small windows that I could open but rainy days they would have to be closed. Its a half basement with crumbling brick walls that I can't afford to replace, We are just doing one brick at a time in the worse places. This musty smell is traveling up our stairs now.
