HM30 replacement w/ Vertex

I too am not interested in throwing any more money at this unit. It's about 11 years old, and since the new pressure swirch did not fix the problem, I'm suspecting the combustion air blower. $600...........for an old unit.
I can't complain too much, circuit board last year, a C.A.B. the second year, it was under warranty. Love the unending hot water though, and the AM30 unit is working fine. So this looks like it might be just the deal.
So, John, straight connection as far as electrical? The fact that I can reuse my 2" PVC exhaust is great, I don't want to build a chase to get a standard vent out. Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
