i've got adhesive on my light colored berber carpet

does anyone have any advice on how to remove adhesive from berber carpeting. My carpet is a very light grey (almost white). I also have a spot of expanding foam on the carpet and it has left a yellow stain. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
