saso engineered floors warped

I just got Saso engineered floors. When I opened the boxes, some of the planks were warped or curved. The middle of the plank raised up from 1/8 of an inch to close to 1/2 of an inch. There also were flat ones, but there are more curved.
I talked to a customer serv. rep. at ifloors, where I got them. At first he thought there was a manufacturing prob, now he saw that they do it on purpose so the planks will click together more securely. I've never heard of an instance where this would be true.
