Tub surrounds and Vinyl siding

Where can I buy bathtub surrounds for a 30"x60" bathtub, other than Home Depot or Lowes. I would like a good selection between $200-300 dollars. Also, can the average homeowner buy vinyl sising or do you have to be a contractor, because I would like a goo selection to choose from, and don't know where to look. Thank you!!
